A small delightful cafe. With good simple food. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Must be the last good place in blackwood.

We had a lovely breakfast here this morning. The staff are always so kind, friendly and happy to help. They take your order at the table too which is always nice wherever you go. We sat in the basement which has some of the most comfortable seats ever! The "big breakfast" is just short of 10 for one person which may put some people off but given that this is an independent business and the generous portions and great quality food, it completely feels worth the money - 100%!They also do the best buttery toast in Wales. They have an impressive drinks menu with lots of options both hot and cold, as well as a great vegan selection! There's something for everyone here.We also appreciated how they played Smooth radio and not any annoying channels like Radio 1, it really added to the atmosphere!We will definitely be returning

First visit, what to dislike! Staff even though short staffed so welcoming and fab service. Food excellent and large portions. As we had a little wait for food due to staff situation, waitress kept us informed, so apolgietic and even brought free bottled water and coffees. So nice to have such a personal service, fab choice of food and lovely bubble waitress who couldn't do enough for us!

We stopped here for a coffee and cake. I had the coffee and walnut muffin and hubby had choc chip shortbread, washed down the two very tasty lattes. The food and coffee were outstanding and the ladies serving were so lovely. It's been a long time since we've had such a warm welcome! Highly recommend.

Met my sister for a coffee and a chat as we walked in we were welcomed straight away ans felt a very relaxed atmosphere we were shown where to sit give. Menus and left to decide prices seemed a bit steep but you have to consider rates and expenses these days28 for two toasties and two large coffees BUT all that was cast aside when the food arrived as it was beautifully prepared and tasted amazing so it's worth paying that bit more for quality. On the way out I had to let them know how pleased we wereWell done all .
